Youth in the Outdoors

Coyland Creek Sporting Clay and Game Preserve Youth in the Outdoors

Youth in the Outdoors is a day where kids can come and learn about different outdoor activities. Some of the activities we have provided in the past have included; learning how to shoot a bow and arrow, learning how to shoot a 22 long Rifle, shooting with a BB gun, painting on turkey feathers, fish prints, fishing and fly fishing, trapping booth, building wood duck houses, learning about taxidermy and a dog training seminar.

Booths from DU, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Wild turkey federation, Crex Meadows, Boy Scouts, and others are here to provide a learning environment that is fun for kids of all ages!

Free admission for adults and kids and the kids even get a free lunch!
